Arboriculture is the cultivation, management, and study of individual trees. 

There is a lot more to Arboriculture than just cutting down trees, inevitable that it a part of our industry but it is just a small percentage of the over all picture.

At GFM on a daily basis we are called to inspect trees and advise on their condition and we pride ourselves on being able to save many trees, through maintenance and treatment programs designed specifically for each individual tree.

Everyday we are pruning trees to lighten their crown to reduce the weight on there limbs to prevent breaks/snapping. We remove deadwood, inclusions and vines such as mistletoe.
We treat trees for insects and pathogens and we conduct fertilization and treatment programs which could carry on for months and these programs usually involve inspecting and treating the tree every few days.

All cuts and treatments are done to Australian Standard
