GFM is a family run business; our group of companies has been offering quality Arborist services throughout Queensland since 1994.
The Madderom Family moved to Cairns from New Zealand in 1987 and GFM's current director John Jr. started a Tree Care Company along with his father John Sr. in Cairns in 1994.
Previous to this John Jr. attended Waikato University to study Arboriculture, under well known Arborist Martin Herbert.
John later moved to England and started his own successful Arboriculture business, extending and broadening his knowledge in the industry.
John moved back to Australia in 2013 and took over ownership of GFM in 2014.
Since taking over the business, John has expanded our operations to machinery hire aswell.
At GFM we have a strong commitment to high quality work and a safe working environment, which has grown with the expansion of our company to ensure the safety of our personnel, clients and the public.Through our many years of experience and dedication to the tree care industry we have been able to achieve excellence in our profession.
Our team of employees consists of highly experienced Arborists, with over 100 year experience combined.
Our employees are all in ongoing training to ensure that we stay at the forefront of our industry.
